Mezzo-soprano Michele Schroeder is known for her droll wit on stage, paired with a sweet, mezzo tone.
Receiving her Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from San Francisco State University where she performed the role of Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte). Michele has performed primarily in operettas with Lamplighters Music Theatre playing the roles of Phoebe Meryll (Yeomen of the Guard), Pizzi (The new Mikado), Lisa (Grand Duke), the title role in Iolanthe, Edith (Pirates of Penzance), Melissa (Princess Ida), Cousin Hebe (HMS Pinafore), and Paquette (Candide).
Michele also enjoys performing in musical theatre and has played roles such as Margo (Bright Star) and Miss Amelia (A Little Princess).
While attending BASOTI, Michele performed the roles of La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica), and performed opera scenes as Dame Quickly (Falstaff), Angelina (La Cenerentola), and Carmen (Carmen).
